Due to our focus on reducing the headaches that come with order fulfillment, our clients have the option of allowing their customers to sign up for DCP User Accounts. These accounts are a great home base for customers to access and control important information like order history, delivery tracking, saved addresses, and saved payment methods. Our Account Link feature makes it even easier for customers to access their account right from the navigation bar.
The Account Link
The Account Link is a session component you can add to your site's navigation bar that takes customers directly to their DCP User Account. It gives shoppers a clear, consistent way to reach their order history, delivery tracking, and saved details from wherever they are on your site.
Ease of Access
Placing the Account Link in your navigation bar keeps the DCP User Account in view at all times. Customers don't have to search for it, so checking an order or updating their details takes just one click.
Personalization
When a customer is signed in, the Account Link can display their first name (for example, "Hi, John!"). This messaging is customizable, so you can match it to your brand's voice and give returning customers a more personal welcome.
Flexibility
If your brand already has its own user accounts for purposes outside of ordering and checkout, the Account Link can still fit your setup. We recommend placing it globally across your site, but it can also be used only on the DCP subdomain if that better suits your brand's priorities.
